The 4-10 week lead time shown is accurate. We are not able to pinpoint an exact date that this bed can ship. It is part of a convertible bed system so inventory for an given piece changes quickly. Generally 1-3 days after the order is placed, we get an updated date from the manufacturer on when the order is estimated to ship. Once we have that information, we pass it on to you.
We ship with a freight carrier and they do what is called a Curbside/Tailgate Delivery. This means that they will take all of the boxes off of the truck, but they do not bring them inside of the house. We email with tracking once the order ships so that you know it is on the way, and the trucking company will call you once the shipment reaches your destination terminal to schedule a delivery appointment.
