The dimensions under the loft are 60-1/4"W x 50-1/4"H. You can fit a twin or full size bed frame underneath in an l shape. A queen mattress is 60"W, so you might be able to squeeze a mattress in there, but it will be very tight and it won't allow for a queen bed frame.
