Both the bed and the trundle take standard mattresses. So for the queen bed itself, the queen mattress is 60x80, and for the twin xl trundle, the twin xl mattress is 39x80. You can use whatever depth mattress you prefer for the queen bed, for the trundle, the mattress should not exceed 8" in depth.
