It is 16" from the bottom of the side rail to the top of the guardrail. A measurement sheet has been added to the product page.
Each bed takes a standard twin mattress, it is recommended not to exceed 6" in depth for all 3 mattresses.
The weight capacity is 220lbs for each bed.
